Dear Colleagues,

We are very happy to organize the 9th Congress of BANTAO, which was founded in 1993, after having organized the 4th Congress in Izmir in 1999. BANTAO Idea; this science based togetherness is also actually the expression of a friendship, which strengthens through our strong historic ties. Thanks to this friendly atmosphere, 8 congresses which we held were extremely beneficial and created hope for scientific cooperation for the future. Despite wars and natural disasters, our association has become stronger through successful congresses. Despite the special conditions of the present year, we have finished our preparations to hold the 9th BANTAO Congress in Antalya between 18-22 November together with the Turkish Society of Nephrology (TSN) National Congress of Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation with the support of Turkish Society of Nephrology like the other international societies. The Congress will be in English just like all the BANTAO Congresses and there will also be simultaneous translations during the Turkish sessions of the TSN National Congress of Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation. This way, our guests from the Balkan countries will have the opportunity to join these sessions. A CME Course has been organized with ERA-EDTA for the last day of the Congress.

Antalya is a harbor city in Southern Turkey and is the tourism capital of our country with its historical and cultural features on the Western Mediterranean coast. You will find the opportunity to take advantage of warm, sunny Mediterranean climate and natural and historical richness of the city on the Mediterranean coast, which lies below the Taurus Mountains, which are covered with forests, in November. Since there are direct flights between Antalya and many cities in Turkey and Europe, you will find it easy to get there. 9th BANTAO Congress will be an unforgettable congress in terms of both scientific content and socially.
